Among our popular expeditions is the

considered one of the best river trips in the
Indian Himalayas. The
Himalayas are the
origin of the Bhagirathi river, which rages
through spectacular valleys and gorges till
Devprayag where it
merges with the Alaknanda river to become one of the worlds most
revered and sacred rivers - the Ganga. Rated as a class lV river, the
Bhagirathi
offers some wild white water thrills during its winding course. The best
time to run this river is mid October through till mid April and can be done
in about eight days. This expedition can be combined with a trek in the
Himalayas or a wild life safari at the Jim Corbett National Park famous for
its tiger population. The Alaknanda river expedition is less technical and
is ideal for beginners and can be completed in six days. The kali Sarda,
Zanskar,
Satluj,
Brahmaputra and
Teesta rivers
also offer some exhilarating stretches for the discerning rafter or
Kayaker..
The
Kali Sarda River Expedition takes you
through
splendid wildlife and
birdlife and offers some
classic Class lV white water thrills. Rising on the slopes of Mount Api
(7,132 m) the
Kali Sarda river for most of its length demarcates the
western boundary between India and Nepal.
